Our Ceremonial Uji Sayakami Matcha is made from the noble Okumidori variety and comes from traditional cultivation in one of Japan's most famous Matcha regions. Uji has been known for centuries for its high tea quality and careful processing.

Through targeted shading of the tea plants before harvest and particularly gentle processing, a fine Matcha with an intense, natural green is created. In terms of taste, it convinces with a soft, balanced umami, a subtle natural sweetness, and a fresh, nutty, slightly floral aroma, completely without bitterness. Its harmonious profile makes it particularly enjoyable both pure and with milk.

The grinding is traditionally done in granite stone mills, which creates an extremely fine powder. Small color nuances can occur due to natural fluctuations and storage processes of the Tencha before grinding.

Super gut für einen Matcha Latte, aber da ich ihn pur zu bitter finde, 4 Sterne. Im Latte erinnert mich der Geschmack leicht an Hojicha :)

Leicht süßlich, nicht bitter. Das einzige was fehlt ist, dass er nicht ganz soooo intensiv ist, aber sonst alles super. Wurde einen Tag zu spät geliefert, lag aber an dhl also da gibt es nichts zu meckern:)
